Learning support, not certification
Aboard & Able is an educational study tool. It does not provide a boating license, certification, legal advice, navigation instructions, or a substitute for an approved course, qualified instruction, official publications, charts, notices, or sound judgment on the water.
Safe use
Do not use the service while operating a vessel or whenever it could distract you from keeping a proper lookout and following applicable laws and safety procedures. Conditions, regulations, and official guidance can change. Verify information with the responsible authority before relying on it.
Who may create an account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Visitors under 13 may use the guest experience, which does not create an account.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may restrict or close accounts used to disrupt the service, misuse content, bypass safeguards, or violate law.
Content and availability
The service and its original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Personal, non-commercial learning use is permitted. We may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Disclaimer and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Boating involves inherent risk. You remain responsible for your decisions, compliance with applicable rules, vessel operation, and the safety of yourself and others.
